Architecture in the landscape of the valley

This house is carved into the hillside. The textured block-work refers to the excavated strata of the site, and the grey timber shiplap cladding reflects the beautiful eucalypts that are scattered through the landscape. Functionally, the house is divided into three wings to create separate parent, children, and guest zones.
